The purpose of the scheme is to provide help to local residents of all ages who need assistance with day to day tasks.

We need the following helpers:

Daily Co-ordinators choose their own duty day or days a month in advance.
Requests for help are taken between 10am and 12noon Mon-Fri in their own home using the AGN mobile.
They then match a volunteer from the list to the request.

Volunteer Drivers are needed for local journeys to Doctors, shops, library, hospital etc.
Drivers are reimbursed at 35p per mile and only need to offer a minimum of one journey a month.

Multi-tasker Volunteers are needed for all the other non-driving jobs we may be asked to do.
These could include collecting prescriptions, doing a small amount of shopping, sitting in for a chat, doing very simple DIY, dog walking etc.
